I was wondering if anyone knows how long it will take Citi to remove my Authorized User tradeline from my credit reports. I am an AU on my wife's card which currently has a very high balance and credit util %. Removing it is going to help my score jump now that I have my own cards with $0 balances and low util. The sooner the better. Any ideas?

You may have to file disputes. Even when you remove yourself as an AU, it's not always removed from your reports unless you use the dispute process.

This^^^^..
Or help your DW bring her balances down.
Being removed on their end shows up as a closed line on yours. It will still effect AAoA and payment history but not utilization. If you want it removed if it is hurting in that regard you can dispute them. Just mark as not owner of the account as the reason and then tell them you are no longer an authorized user and want it removed from your credit report. You can dispute online or call up.
Sorry should have said that you have to wait for them to update the report if you only do it on Citibanks end. If you want it off faster you have to remove yourself with Citibank and then dispute.
Thanks. I filed all 3 disputes last night and hopefully they will be updated soon. She removed me as an AU on Friday so any verification the CB's do should check out.
You disputed as "Not responsible for this account" correct?

IIRC, I had to use the disputes process to remove DH's stuff from my credit reports.
