Hi. Got this offer in the mail. Currently I have Chase Freedom Unlimited. This seems like better deal in every way including the cell phone insurance, 1.8% cash back, no annual fee. I was holding back since there was no sign up bonus. Thoughts?
This is new. This card did not used to have sign up bonus, whereas Chase Freedom does. That's what I meant
Thank you. Yah, I saw that. I meant this card if you even go on the website it does not show the sign up bonus. It's targeted.
currently the best card they offer right now
1.8% is beaten by a number of other cards but it’s not bad.
The value of the FU is that it feeds into the Chase UR ecosystem. If that doesn't matter to you then this card (the CashBack Plus) isn't a bad alternative altough you may want to research the cards with 2% CB so you're comfortable with your choice.
Citizens' online site is a bit clunky and Citizens isn't known for giving out high SL.
Really? Citi is is 2% but on pay. Don't think any other card offer 1.8% on everything right now.
Oh, I see. I barely use Chase UR, maybe for car rentals during summer. I got good deals couple of times. The 2% CB Citi is on 1% by default and 1% on pay which is annoying. The only downside I found for this card is the rewards has to accumuate to $25.00 to cash out.
