I have read that you can move CL with Chase from one card to another. If I move my old Slate card limit to my new Freedom card, will I lose all my account aging? I would think so but would hope not. LOL The Freedom card has a better APR and limitl
Thanks for any insight anyone has.

I dont know what you meant by "lose all my account aging."
If you move your Slate card limit to your Freedom card, your Slate is considerated a closed account. It will remain in your credit report and help pad average account age for 10 years. It will then drop off after that and will no longer help with average account age.
Thanks - I am still learning and kept thinking closing an account is a bad thing - ie once closed, it didnt count. Good to know it does- worked hard to get scores where they are (760 ranges) and dont want to loose it doing something silly. Appreciate the help!
