I have 3 cards with them, has anyone ever had any luck with trying to get the cards combined into one?
Not that I have ever read.
Hello. I am new here as a poster, but not as a lurker! I just sent the EO an email after reading all of the posts here. (They are unbelievably helpful!) One of the things I was looking to request of them was to combine my secured and unsecured card (sort of a hybrid graduation of the cards, and other things) I will let you know if I was sucessful if you would like?
It would be nice to just have one card. I have 3 all with no annual fee's. Not that i use them but it would nice to have the CL on one card instead of being spread out across the 3.
Unfortunately, Capital One will not merge or combine CCs. Their policy to consolidate/combine accounts changed a few years ago.
Thats a bummer. Oh well they are in the SD just hanging out anyway.
Thanks

Thanks
I would think, though, if they get incremental feedback from all their customers to reverse such policy via FB, EO, or standard channels, then maybe that could gain some momentum. But, I wouldn't close them just yet IMO. I have 4 - two of those were former HSBC Premier CCs.
If you have identical program cards with no annual fees, you would think that combining them would save money for Capital One. Or maybe with electronic statements the extra cost is almost 0. Perhaps we need to switch back to paper statements to drive them in the right direction.

When i talked to the EO a few months back the guy was helpful but said they couldnt combine at this time...but said it was soemthing they were looking in to after the HSBC transition was completed...who knows though...the decision makers are probably "considering" going on a 6 months european cruise...doesnt mean its gonna happen...
