Hi all! I have a QS and QS1 both have balances that I am working on paying off but I am a little confused on how combining credit limits work. If I wanted to basically increase the limit on my QS to ultimately close the QS1, which one would I pay down first? Do I pay off the QS1 and then ask to transfer the credit limit to QS? I'm assuming it is just a transfer of limit and not a balance transfer. I understand I can't transfer the entire limit. I'm sure I am totally overthinking this, lol!!! Thank you!!

if it's an option, and it's not 100% sure that it will be an option for you, there will be a button somewhere in your online account for transfering limit between your cards.
you'll need to pay off the balance for any limit you want to transfer over to the other card and you'll need to keep a minimum amount of limit on the donor card, the credit line reallocation is a soft pull, but still subject to Cap1 approval
Great! Thank you!!
Thank you so much!

Appreciate the link, wasn't aware this was a potential option. Unfortunately, I don't see it and stuck in low limit hell (which I understand based on previous profile but still sucks) so will be closing Cap One cards soon.
