Combining limits effects

So I just got off the phone with Barclays.......transferred 4k from their LLBean card to my Rewards card.  Will this affect my credit negatively since there was a CL decrease on the LL Bean Card....I decided to keep 500 on this card.....since I do use LL Bean occasionally.

Re: Combining limits effects

There's no intrinsic effect on scoring.

However, if you have a low CL like $500, and let much of a balance report (like $450), then that card is maxed, and maxing cards hurts your scores.

Re: Combining limits effects

Also dont expect a CLI anytime soon, as Barclay counts limit transfers as Credit Line Change.
