Re: Comenity Credit Card List

How did you get comenity to give you CLIs? I have 10 of their cards 1. Knig Size Gold,2. Roamans #2 one and3. Women Within, 4.OneStop Plus,5. Jessica London, 6 Brylane Home, 7. Express, 8. Buckle, 9. Haband, and #10. Blair (Now Bair VIP) all have $250 credit limits except Blair and Haband have only $200. Its been six months since I got them all using the shopping trick, They all have helped in rebuilding my credit. Thats all good now, Just wish they would raise my limits so I could get a better fico score. I tried to get Express Card to give me one since I do alot of shopping at their store, but they wont budge, they do send me lots of discount coupons though, the last one was 80% off $100 in store purchases and I gladly used it, I am constantly paying that card off and reusing it. Since January I have maxed it out and paid it off 3 times, still not CLI! What is your secret to the CLI? On any of these cards that i got with them. Maybe after a year or so I will get one.

Well I don't have a logo, so I will just use @#@

For almost every Comenity card you need 6-12 months of history.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.

Re: Comenity Credit Card List

@goosedog  I applied for the Total Rewards Visa A couple of days ago after getting a pre aproval popup when I logged into my total rewards account. There was a hard pull to Equifax, however I been reading threads and some report comenity pulling experian. I received a popup saying I was approved with their worst rate 22.99% and didn't get my credit limit. A day later I called and the phone rep stated my limit will be $1,500.

I am in Northern Texas don't know if that is a factor to why equifax was pulled. My reports are not completely clean, but I have had good history on 4 tradelines for a bit over 2 years, and only 2 Inq on Equifax. Hope my information helps

Re: Comenity Credit Card List

Oh one more detail. I setup the Total Rewards Account about 1 week or so ago, and only logged in because I got some email talking about the account. Don't know if that matters.

I have an off topic question. How do you quote someone? My privious post was my first post on myfico forums. Thanks

Re: Comenity Credit Card List

Just an FYI - Value City is no longer Comenity.

My Pottery Barn is $15800 so you can get high limits with them.

My Crate & Barrel is $7k.
