Comenity Security Department

I thought when applications go to security department they are just verifying you and then they are approved... why would it go to security department if it's declined?!

Re: Comenity Security Department

Never heard of this with Comenity. All my other apps with this result have gone both ways.

I called again and talked to what I have as "recon" of course same girl and she said sorry it's handled by this security department but she showed still processing.

I said that usually is verify and approve from my experience, why would it go to this department for denial.

she said she wasn't sure and couldn't do anything but send me there again if I wanted so I said sure maybe I get someone else.

I did get someone else and I said i was confused by the last guy saying I had applied for the card in the last 30 days (I have not) but then changing to say I had to many INQ's "period"

he said he could process it now

and came back declined for INQ's

I'm really disliking this new Comenity that doesn't like INQ's, they pulled my EX which is between a 696-703 depending and I was declined for out of ALL CARDS a BEALLS FLORIDA... that's what I get for applying for a card that I will not use myself, I wanted to get it for my mother as she loves the store Smiley Tongue

Bealls, they are like worse then JCPenney was 5 years ago... ugh

And I applied for this all the way back on Sunday!
