Sorry again D...
Thank you for telling us, and we all knew it would be some BS response. It always is....What's BS about an issuer not liking it when a customer seeks credit aggressively?
Its Comenity...Not JP Morgan ok? ......Cmon..you dont need to go there. No need to bring up "aggressive credit seeking", thats like rubbing salt in a wound CB14..Everyone knows why this happened, it doesnt need to continuously be "repeated"... And it is a BS response.
There might be less AA throughout the MF community if the causes weren't trivialized.
I love the fact that they, "hope you'll apply again in the future."
@Ron1 wrote:Sorry to hear!!! You haven't missed anything. They aren't any good. Someone used my Orbitz Visa. I didn't get any alert. They didn't block the account like Amex. I didn't know until I got my statement. I had to call my card stolen. It is time to move on.
Ron.
Ron,
Suntrust was intriguing the other day. I made a purchase and was sitting in the parking lot jumping on a conference call. All of the sudden, the automated dialer calls and it's their fraud department asking if I made the purchase I just made.
In support, I'm going to close all my Comenity cards.
Closing "in support" of a card holder who makes no bones about painting a bust-out risk target on their back, seems to miss the decisive point.
In any case, nice to see OP move on gracefully, after such a big hit, as she knows there will most likely be ample opportunity going forward to reestablish a relationship should she choose to re-app.

I just put two bandaids on my hand from the papercuts I received opening up 10lbs of Comenity letters lol.
Each one said the same thing; Account Closed due to recent number of inquiries. We hope you apply again in the future.
My credit score of theirs was 762 from EX and 758 from EQ internal scoring.
In the midst of the mail was a preapproval for Blair Credit Card and Brylane Home lol. Oh well, at least its over and case is closed! The stack of mail was a bit horrifying, im glad its over and done!
Ddemari,
You're kidding right? Here is what i posted just yesterday on someone else's topic:
"
Maybe if it was Comenity i could agree with you
You may even get your pre aprooval offer in the same envelope with the LOE for AA...!
You made me laugh"
