Re: Comenity/ Synchrony AA -Please post screen shots and letters

Very interested in this thread to SEE what AA initially looks like. For instance, are options greyed out? Do you see 0.00 or N/A?

After being very bad, I went to log into Barclays early in the morning and saw that my available credit was way less. I panicked only for it to update later. Swore that was AA. Couple other times Barclays has shown N/A. Once for Chase too a few months back. Again, both updated and all was well. This happens around 3-6:00am when one should be sleeping.

So I thought I witnessed AA but they weren't. What does real AA look like?

Posters do not need to post screenshots to 'prove' their posts.  You either can believe them or not.  We don't require documentation .  It's entirely up to those who make these reports what they want to include.

I definitely understand and respect that. but since so many people post screenshoots, I just think it would resignate more deeply for me as visuals work wonders on my mind. but understand no proof is required or necessary, I just think it would really give people a wake up call. but thats just me.

If a post that indicates AA isn't enough of a wake up call, not sure how a screenshot is going to help much.  Too often when we 'tell' people to include screenshots it's just calling into question the veracity of their post.  Without any proof that someone is fabricating their story we don't need to do that anymore than we require screenshots in the approvals section.

Is this going to become a proof or it didn't happen forum? It seems quite a few people have reported AA happening, in fact enough to make it appear legitimate. I really can't imagine people making this up and jumping on the imaginary bandwagon. What's the gain? While I appreciate people wanting proof, I also appreciate and respect people's privacy, if someone is willing enough to share a negative experience whether it's AA or baddies on their CR I should afford them the respect and courtesy they deserve. People are here seeking help and giving help, why make a person in a bad spot feel more uncomfortable by asking for proof? I don't presume anyone is accusing anyone of being less than truthful but to the recipient it can come off that way.

barclays has done that before to me too! late at night the available credit flucuated and then goes back to normal. this is a new card of mine just opened, there fore available credit says 0 but if you look down at credit line it says $3,000.00. I assume if the card was closed, it was say 0 There too.

@ddemari

Yeah Comenity is known to do that until you activate the card.

Will it also look like that when AA is taken? Is there a big red message or more visible signs that alert you upon logging in?

I am going to drop my take on it and leave my opinion with that Irish said. But, for people that were looking for screenshoots, there was a bigger type of question in play. not so much needing them to validate it but some other members have had the same feeling I share. I dont want to put anyone down, therefore I am dropping my take on the subject. I hope everyone has good experiences and thanks for sharing everything!

I have a Truevalue Discover closed last friday by Comenity. My available balance says $0 and the credit limit still has $1250, which was my limit.

I totally get what your saying and agree with you, my only concern was for people who feel pressured and no longer feel comfortable sharing because of it. I know I learn a lot of things here everyday and appreciate everyone's contributions, this forum is great and has some of the best posters with awesome information, hope everyone has a good experience as well. Thanks for sharing your information.

no one should feel pressured, learn, share and at the end of the day take something valueable away!
