I almost NEVER get mail from Comenity when my applications go into review for either denied or security call in, I have to call multiple times until someone stops saying wait for the 7-10 days and says "That's so odd, I have never heard someone not getting the mail" and then looks up the actual app to rather it's denied or needs security verification which is like pulling teeth!
My pre-approved pop up with Motorola went into "pending" which is a first I have ever seen that and now over week later still no mail and everytime I have called in the last 2 days after a few minute hold it sends me to a voicemail... This bank is in over it's head if you ask me with how many cards they now bank and how they run like a little town card!! Leave a voicemail for my bank is so weird to me and actually annoying to not have the choice to hold.
Anyone have a different number then the recon listed which is "Member Services Representative"?
You still trying to get that Moto card CreditAddict? Sure seems like they have been giving you the run around, hope you get it figured out! I agree the leave a message this is quite unprofessional. Maybe for your trouble they'll give you the card! Good luck!
They have lost it!
So lady calls me and I go through I was told to wait, they check the online thing just like me, still nothing.... she searches and finds it and says it didn't process and to hold on, she comes back and says okay it still needs further processing let me get you over to that department (they don't call themselves the security department but they are the department that asks those 2 or 3 questions off public records and then usually give you an approval) I get over there and the guy can't find it... tells me if I don't have an application number or a letter from them I need to wait... I'm loosing it, I'm like she transferred me, was she lying about having the application in front of her or what?
hes like "Sir, like I said I don't know about her and if you have not received a letter from her!"
I said "Your bank has gotten SO FAR over there head with all the cards they issue, they don't know what the f is going on anymore.
I told him to hold since he can't see who transferred me and I call the number back that is still showing on my phone as my current call and 3-way it... goes directly to vcmail and I leave a message that I need her to call me back ASAP about the app she just transferred me for and I clicked back over to him and give her name to him.
he says "I know we don't have a person by that name working in my department"
me" are you kidding me right now, I have been saying since the start of this call someone in your customer service or relations or whatever comenity wants to call CSR's transferred me to security, she never was in your dept.
he is like "This isn't security"
I was like "I don't work at your bank, so I don't know what you call your different departments, but you are in a different department then her (he did tell me his department but I forgot already)
so he now agrees to try to transfer my call back to customer service (I was yelling a bit at this point and some of this sounds nastier in text but I did explain to him to you see the frustration and confusion and he was understanding of that) so after holding for about 10 minutes all of a sudden he comes back and says "I FOUND YOUR APP, it wasn't under Motorola!
I turned to such honey it almost made me throw up!
he was like I just kept searching and didn't give up because you said it was here.
I was like those stupid computers moving apps under different company names! lol
he pulls up the 2 security questions off of public record and
BOOM... APPROVED!
