Partner just closed Slate and CSP and moved both credit lines to his Freedom making the new Freedom Credit Line = $42,500 ![]()
Wow, that's quite the credit line. Any reason for closing the CSP? The card sounds very useful if spend is high enough and paired with the Freedom. Does partner have a better general spend/restaurant card?
Wow! That's a lot of Freedom!

We are currently using diners for a couple months to hide spending in case we do move forward with house buying but after that I use AARP almost exclusively and that with Citi DC and Fidelity Amex CSP just isn't as useful for us... the bonus was great but we don't do enough travel to make socking points into something like that better year round than CASH!
I think that's an interesting choice, considering Freedom is capped on the 5% and the rest is 1% so no real benefit to such a huge limit, but I guess if you couldn't justify the CSP it makes sense.

we really don't use any of them so I figure 1 huge cl is better than 3 sitting there.
Well, the Slate is certainly useless, and if you don't travel enough to justify a CSP, a Freedom is the best of the 3!

Wow.. Nice..
I'm considering doing this soon. I really don't use my SW card much anymore and with the coming devaluation the 6K anniv pts don't make the AF worth it. My other two on the chopping block are CSP and RC depending on some things..
That's just amazing
