I have been looking for a reasonable credit union for a long time. PenFed too strict, I don't qualify for USAA or any of the other DCFU types out. Allegacy credit union is hard to deal with and Alliant is hard to deal with. So i took a shot with consumers, they are here in Illinois. I joined and was preapporved for a checking, share account, visa platinum, visa signature, and like 3 other visas. Well I wanted a vanialla visa with a decent apr. I went through the verification, uploaded my ID and this is the result I receieved. It is sayings my accounts are pending but the Visa says $10,000k at 13.75%... which from experience with other CC's an apr is a good sign that its an approval.
Just wonderig if anyone else have experience with this and the outcome?
I don't have an experience with this CU but it certainly looks like an approval to me. A lot of CUs still say 'under review' after an approval because an underwriter will take a look and could change the terms or even the approval. This rarely happens so I'm pretty sure that you'll be fine. Congrats
Thanks! They pulled Tu for me. My TU fico has dipped a little but today's new report has me at 718.
Lots of new accounts though but utilization at 13% and no negatives on CR. I was shocked when they gave me the preapproved offers, there were like 6 cards! usually i get the share account and thats it! So I am excited to see what happens.

Yeah you'll be fine. That's fantastic that they show preapproved offers. Did they pull TU for membership or just when you applied for the card?
When you hit join as a new memeber. The application asks address, employment, net monthly salary, full social security number, mothers maiden name, etc. as soon as i hit submit, I receieved a TU instant alert.
The next page showed me all my options/ prepprovals and funding options.
The interesting thing is the application says we are going to pull information from your Equifax credit report but I got the immediate Tu alert. I will check equifax monitoring shortly to see if they double pulled me.
Fingers crossed!
EQ should be a SP for ID verification.
TU will be the one for the CC or any loans.
I've had a share and CC with them for a few years. I think post opening 1 year anniversary they did a auto CLI and since then I called / e-mailed for increase which were HP's. I rarely use the card but, initially approved for 10K and now it's up to 17K.
