Hello Guys,
I applied last week and was Approved for a Disney Premier Visa Card from Chase with a $2500 limit, I live 3 hours from Disney World and go to the parks every year in addition to the Disney Cruises, Because of this i have decided to use this card as my main charge card. I have 2 other Chase cards and decided to transfer most of the credit line into the Disney Card ($4000 from the Freedom and $1000 from the Slate).
As it stands the Disney Card now has a credit limit of $7500, Will this move convert the card into a Visa Signature or will it stay as a standard Visa because my initial CL was $2500?
I know i can simply call Chase and ask them but i was wondering if anyone has ever done this and what the outcome was?
just getting the CL above 5k won't upgrade it automatically. You have to make the request but don't forget you add on a $49 AF when it moves to the Signature card

I think the Disney Premier, even if it is not a Visa Signature, will have an AF.

They consider a visa signature upgrade to be a product change and they make you wait 12 months after account opening. After that time it shouldn't be an issue but you'll have to wait.
Is this because is a Disney card, or this is with all their cards? I didn't know that Visa to Visa Signature is a product change.
Thank You for the feedback, That's a bummer that Chase considers it a product change since the card itself is the same.
@BundiFan I am already paying the annual fee because i have the Disney Premier card.
In-branch banker at Chase told me it's automatic "within a couple months" after a CLI to bring you over $5k.
The good thing about Chase is that you can send a SM asking for it and will reply if they can do it or you have to wait a year.
I think my DW changed her Freedom from regular Visa to Visa Signature before 12 months but I'm not 100% sure.

Exactly what I did on my 13th month
