Coolest non "stock" Credit Cards?

I was just interested in hearing of other people who happen to have an exciting credit card that is not "stock", as in available for anyone. I'm talking about legacy cards that may have been merged or acquired by other cards, but kept some features of one card while adding others, leaving you with an awesome card. Or a sweet card acquired via PC.

Mine is my Capital One QuickSilver.

It was initially a CapOne platinum rebuilder from 2010. I later joined the Army and got the SCRA rate to 4% on it. Then I got it PC'd to the QS. So now I have a QS, which has a 4% APR, 1.5% rewards, no BT or FTF's! It's definitely nice to be able to transfer or hold a balance at 4% if I don't have a 0% promo going!

Re: Coolest non "stock" Credit Cards?

I had a target card that always gave me 10% employee discount. I worked at a store called mervyns that got bought by target, then sold. It's gone now. I had a mervyns and a target card, this was 1997 or so. Target continued to give me discount for quite a bit after that, then the account got closed (not me, inactivity i guess)

OP, that is a really neat legacy card to rock. enjoy and dont abuse that bad boy.

lol Mervyn's.. brings back bad memories of my mom forcing me to shop with her. After Mervyn's we'd go to Pic n' Save.

Priceline.com VISA card.

My old version still gives 2% cash back on non priceline purchases.

And now it also gives an additional 10% of points back when points are redeemed for travel purchases.

That makes it effectively a 2.2% cash back VISA card. Still with no annual fee.

YupYup - same situation with me.  I just tried last night to PC my Capital One Platinum(former Orchard Bank card) to QuickSilver and was approved.  Since I'm in the Military I get the same benefits - 4%, no fee's, etc.  I love it!  Opened that card in 2006 with a $250 limit, now it's a QuickSilver with a $4k limit!  Love it!
