I don't mind at all, miahmarie.

WaMu approvals have always been a bit unpredictable.  I remember conversations on this forum months ago talking about how their approvals and denials are both all over the place on the credit spectrum.

I just got my wamu the other day and it went directly into the sock drawer. It has a 3k cl. I just needed the new cl because I am diluting my baddies with some good. I don't plan on using it. Those suckers(wamu) think they're gonna make money off me, HA-HA! As Judas Priest would say: "You got another thing comin"!

I like Wamu. 

Back when all I could get was Orchard or HSBC with 300 limits, Wamu gave me 1,300 with 13.99 interest rate.

I've had both a Providian/WaMu and Cap1 card for years, and I'm beginning to believe they treat their card holders in somewhat similar fashion.

Keep the cards WELL below the cl's, ALWAYS pay WELL before the due date and they will treat you decently. Go over the limit or pay late, and they will make it a nightmare for you.

With that said, Cap1 FAR overshadows WaMu's customer service, which is just awful. I've gotten much further working with Cap1's CSR's that I ever have with WaMu's.

Even after the cld'd me in Feb. 2007 on the old Providian card, they still issued me a Visa with a great cl. last October.
