I think you are asking what you can do so that you get higher limits on cards in the future. The first thing would be to increase the deposit on your secured card. Bump it up to $1000. This will show experience with larger limits, so that when you apply for cards in the future, they are more comfortable giving you higher limits. Second, STOP APPLYING! I'm guessing from your cards that you are new to credit. You need to let your cards age for at least a year. If you keep applying for second tier cards like credit one and cap one for newcomers (neither of which are likely to give you a high limit ever), you will just end up with a bunch of low limit cards. You have more than enough to improve your score and make you desirable to lenders that give higher limits, like Chase, Citi, Discover and Amex. Do nothing until at least 6 months, ideally a year. Then apply for one or two of the "starter" cards from top lenders, like the Chase Freedom, Amex Delta Gold or Discover More. I bet you will get higher limits then. But you have to give it some time.
oh wow my sister got her macys card april 2012. She should request a cli and see whats up ![]()
i got my Macys card mid '09 and it has grown by itself to 2.5k from 300.
