Credit One Bank

Does anyone have this CC? I filled out the pre-approval link (since it said no affect on my score) and I got " Your credit history shows that you are pre-qualified for this offer. Apply now and get your credit line decision in less than 60 seconds" -- I read the APR 23.9% -- $75 AF first year then $99 billed monthly $8.25 with a CL of $1500

is this worth getting it? I am on rebuilding mode. Has anyone had any experience with this bank? thanks!

Re: Credit One Bank

High/multiple fees (express payments, montlhly/yearly fees, credit line increases that you request), slow availability of payments when paid through website (usually like 5 days), no grace period (interest starts accruing when the charge posts not 30 days like mist cards)......

Current Debt Management:
$15k Trinity Financial Management (scheduled pay off late 2021)
$10k NFCU
$350/mth Bridgecrest Auto Loan
Goals: Pay off credit card debt & buy a new home before end of 2020

Long Term Debt:
Fed Loans - $150k
Navient - $100k

Taking a "if God don't do it, it won't get done..." approach to paying these off.

HA! I don't mean to scare you, just want you to know what you are getting yourself into if you get it. If you are rebuilding, it will serve its purpose. I have had mine for several years, and probably will close it this coming summer. I am currently at $900 CL and stays at a zero or credit balance most of the time. I am scared I will have an emergency and will need it (it has come in handy several times).

I want to say i read somewhere that if you don't activate it, they won't start charging you fees? But it will still report on your credit as an open and good standing account?? Maybe someone will correct me if I am wrong...
