So I finally made the call to Credit One and canned those bastardios! After getting approved for CSP, BCE and others, I can't stand that Credit One keeps sending me emailed offers for a CLI of $250 to my $450 CL. Frankly its insulting! Not to mention the $8.95 charge that they waived for 3 months as a favor to me.....GET A LIFE! Its has served its purpose and it died peacefully in its sleep at 0 balance.
Thank you Credit One for helping me on my credit journey, but NO THANKS! ![]()
Woohoo! Congrats! I have not had Credit One but I had First Premier back in the day (2007). Also had 2 Orchard Bank and Capital 1 with $79, $59, and $19 Annual Fees. After getting the BCP, CSP, Freedom, and Discover It the last couple weeks, I finally canned Capital 1 with their $300 limit. I had already canned Orchard months ago right before the AF's were about to hit.
Credit One actually just sent me a preapproval, got it same day I got my CSP and Freedom in the mail. Funny after I cancelled Orchards I said I'd NEVER pay an AF but now have a $95 and $75 AF on new cards, BUT those will easily pay for themselves in bonuses and rewards.
Looks like we both hit prime at the same time, so I know how you feel, congrats!!!
Congrats.... Feels good getting rid of sub-prime cards ![]()
@jennilocha: what was the initial CL given to you by Cred1?

Congrats!
I can't wait for my Credit One card to kick the bucket! Once I pay mine off, it's history.
What about me? Am I prime?

Am I Primeland, or am I next exit, or am I halfway?

I started with $350 and then after 8-9 months I got a CLI of $100 and its been stuck there ever since. Until just recently they started sending me offers to get a CLI of $250 on it for the small fee of $19.95 to be charged to my account. I don't use the account much, I just needed it to build credit.

You're in Prime land....LOL! You're doing awesom for starting out, never go the First Premier or Credit One route, you don't need to with that lineup.
