I saw the post about Credit One asking members to change their passwords so I logged into my account to check it out.
in the notifications part it says "You've been pre selected to recieve a Platinum MasterCard" I clicked on it (like the courious cat) "accept you account with a $500 credit line today" $45 anual fee @19.99%
You know if they would jump my visa $500 I might keep it another year but as is they are already on the chopping block! I wonder if they back date.. Lol doubt it
Anyone else with evil Credit One seen this?
Never seen a MasterCard from them... I got the visa with $35 annual at 15% , not bad for a crappy bank.
Just recently axed Credit One from my wallet. They weren't going to grow with me and even the CSR told me during the closing phone call that it was a great way to build or rebuild my credit. My journey has been quicker than expected so no need to keep them around.

Right after I closed my CreditOne account, I got a mailer to add an additional CC. While I'm grateful that they gave me credit when no one else would, I would only recommend them in cases where no one else will give you credit.
I just that same offer today . Mine also said $500, but I didn't take it.

Never had Credit One myself (they kept sending me pre-approvals in fact they still do to this day) however first premier did the same thing to me and still sends me mailers (right after I PIF and closed them they started sending me their next level up offers for that orange card with the higher AF). It's nice there are a few companies around for rebuilder cards - just as long as when they've served their purpose they get axed with all the miscellaneous fees imposed
Anyone have any updates on the Credit One MASTERCARD?
How were you able to raise your scores so quickly? That's at huge improvement for such a small time period. Congrats!
Hate to bump an old thread, if I did wrong let me know but I thought better than creating a new one. I have had a Credit One visa for almost two years, a few months ago I got an offer for their MasterCard. The past month they have been pummeling me with MC offers, email, on my online account and through the mail. Problem is its only a line of $500, though the interest rate is much better than the Visa. Probably will not take them up on it, I have been getting new cards the past few months with 3-5.5K so I have little use for it now. Their Visa is fairly well known but the MC seems to be a bit in the dark. If anyone has had positive experience with ther MC let me know and I might reconsider.

Got this same offer twice over the weekend. Definitely don't need it, and I don't want a new account. I'm trying to get them to just give me a SP CLI of at least $500. I've put in a call and they are manually reviewing it, so we'll see.
