Re: Credit One is persistent...

Greg.  I mean CreditCuriousity.  Or is it really CreditCuriosity?  In any case . . .

SUBMIT to the Dark Side!  Credit One's Force is much too strong for you to fight.  You know you're going to "cave" in to the inevitable!  Just because you worked hard and have graduated to credit cards from the likes of Amex and Chase doesn't mean you really deserve them.  Come back to us Greg!  And if you do, Credit One just might reward you by prorating your annual fee over a monthly basis..  Or just charge you the AF only once a year.  Whichever you desire.

See, Credit One is really quite flexible!  What more could you possibly want in a credit card company...?

Discover hounds me every single month to apply for one of their cards. I shudder when I think about how many trees they have killed in order to print all the solicitations they have sent to me.

I have been fortunate not to get hit up by discover yet... a 1.5k CL wouldn't work with me and just be instant sock drawered...  I guess I am spoiled having a few cards over 5k now and the other kinda get the shun from me now.. Silly I know, but I don't like having to micro manage utilization.

So don't. My first CSP, and RC statements came in at over 60% of my respective CL and reported as such. No negative to my scores. Smiley Happy

Meh login every several days and hit PAY.. I guess it is micro managing, just since I have been rebuilding my credit I am OCD about paying stuff.. I think this issue is I can buy basically a airline ticket and 1 or 2 days at a hotel is a deal killer with the discover "Typical" approval limit.  Freedom works just fine for rotating and the UR miles plays well with the CSPSmiley Happy
