I had 2 credit one cards that were pretty old in comparison to my other cards. I applied for some other cards and was approved. I wanted to replace their credit limits which I did then canceled the credit one cards. Had very minimal effect on my credit. Since it only effected my average age.
I have a Credit One Amex card at a $5,000 limit. 1% cash back and I thought it was also no annual fee. Some are $39 AF. I'll recheck my statements to see if Ive ever been charged a fee. I had been with credit one with two cards for a few years while I rebuilt my credit. I closed one of the cards a couple years ago. They started last year by offering me a 3k line for the Amex. After it increased to 5k with no inquiry I accepted the card to improve utilization. My scores on TU and EX just shot up over 50 points last month after removing the last mark on my credit. So if there is a fee this card will be closed before the AF posts. Looking now for better cards for cash back and balance transfers. I looked at Credit One web page and they offer 11 different cards. I won't get another Credit One card but they've been good to me during the rebuild. The nascar card has an AF of zero to $39 depending on credit. Some of their cards have anywhere from zero to 95 AF.
