I have recently been pre-approved for a First Premier CC with a $700 limit. I wanted a 3rd card, but was denied by Barclays. I already have 2 Capital One cards and a credit union card.
Should I accept the First Premier card, or go for the Credit One that I have been pre-approved for?
Any advice on which one is better?
Neither, stay away from First Premier and Credit One.
How long have you had Cap1? Which card? You could app for a 2nd Cap1 card.
Not just No, but HELL to the no!
You're better off with a secured card (say bank of America) or a Synchrony store card like Walmart or Amazon to help re-establish. I have had credit one in the past, and recently canceled because of their dealings.
Credit One is also run by a collections company if that tells you anything.

I have 2 cap 1 cards and then my credit union card. I have read that Credit One has been beneficial to many people. As long as I am responsible with it.
Only beneficial for someone who can't get anything else. You have 3 decent cards, you don't need Credit One.

The only many people they're beneficial to is the owners of the company. Stay far away from these scum. ![]()
You have 3 cards which is enough to build a solid file.

Got it. Thanks for the advice.
I have them both, about 2 months ago!
I had too do to my past baddies, First Premier reported in 2 weeks but still noting from CreditOne!
However I got 3K from Capital One this month thanks to First Premier reporting.
Credit One was waste of money given I didn't need them to get Cap one.
Both of these cards are good for ppl that have no other credit, is best to cancel them after a year.
No. Just, no. These are both awful cards that are worse than the cards that you have, especially the Credit One card. You have two decent cards. I would use the two Capone cards for six months to a year, then try to get some unsecured cards.
