Well, in my case, in the last year, I've gotten a few new credit cards (e.g. BoA Better Balance, BoA Cash Rewards, Amex BCE, Discover It), and each time, they sent me my credit score. Usually in the 750-770 range, for the record.
In my case, always with the card.

Does the letter with the score arrive concurrently with your card or sometime later?
It depends on the lender. Sometimes it's sent via a separate letter, other times it can be included with the terms of your approval or sometimes with the card carrier.
I got my EQ score with my Discover It package...I believe though they send it to everyone regardless of terms.
I did not get a score with my BankAmericard Cash Rewards...my guess is because I was approved with the terms of the Pre-selected offer.

@Anonymous wrote:Hello Everyone - From several posts here, I got the impression that banks included your credit score when they send a new card. Today, I got a Citi and a Chase card, but neither welcome packets included my credit score information. When people are sharing what the bank indicated as their credit score upon applying, from where are they getting this information?
Thanks you -
CC issuers only provide your credit scores when you don't qualify for the best terms.
Happy New Year to you all. I just applied for a Barclay MC. I got instant approval and the card arrived with checks and showed my credit score.
