I have a question about CU. I have approx 100K in CL from all my accounts. Of that 100K, my highest cl on a single card is 10,600 and several with 10K. I was recently approved for a Alliant Pl for 10K with no BT fee and 0%APR purchases and BT for 12m. I have 2 accounts that have approx 3.8K on them and I wanted to transfer them to the Alliant and pay those off in the next year.
Those are really the only accounts that I carry a balance with and the others I PIF monthly. My question is, if I were to trans those 2 cards, I would have approx 76% Util on that card. But, with my overall CL from all cards, I am at 7.6% util. By transfering these 2 cards to the Alliant, will it hurt my credit score because of the high util on that single card?
The Cl on these 2 accounts are 4.5K and 6K which I am showing high util on those cards. I would like to have just one card with a balance, if this does affect my score. If it will, I may just put half on the Alliant and Half on my NASA that I was just approved for 10.6K at 7.9% and 0 BT fee.
Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance.

Nobody is going to be able to tell you for sure. Because you have a fairly high util on the two current cards, I would guess that your score goes up slightly with a transfer.
Scoring issues aside, if you can't afford to PIF, putting everything on the Alliant card is a good idea. The 0% BT fee and 0% Apr will give you time to get things in order so that you can pay it off in a way that the 7% apr card won't.
Don't swear the score change. Utilization has no memory. As you pay off the BT, your scores will go up.
My scores are fairly decent right now and that is not the concern. EQ:770 Trans:760 And EX:715. I guess where I am getting at is I dont want my score to drop from a BT. The way I look at it is, I will have one card with high utilization vs 2. I have 12 accounts with virtually a 0 balance and one with a high balance, if I do the BT. So, if I take a hit to my CS, it will recover over time as you mentioned. I want to keep it all on one card and pay it off in a year considering I have a year with 0% APR. Might as well use the percs if given to me. I will probably transfer it all on that card and plan on paying 500-600 a month.
