So I had gotten the apple card for 0% on a 2200 MacBook Pro in December. I am at 1300 now just making steady payment. Still have more than a year left. I also have a best buy card with 200 left on it from 700 and still have 1.5 years left. I want a line of credit from DCU but there website was being all buggy. Applied for what I thought was a line of credit through a local CU. Turns out it was a insecure signature loan. So I was approved I only asked for 1500 for emergency cash. After explaining the situation they said it can be a credit card but I already have enough credit cards. And 1500 is enough to get me out of bed lol. So I decided to get my first installment loan and combine the two credit card balances into one easy bill. That frees up the 7.3k line on my barclay card and 3k on the best buy store card that will drop my utilization to 8% from 13%. I also have a 2300 balance on my lowes card (new fridge) but that's nothing and will be paid off in less than 4 months. Which will then drop my utilization to less than 3% I want the chase sapphire but my freedom card is only 3 months old. Do you guys think that if I have 6 months paid on this installment loan and my lowes balance paid I would be able to get it? I have perfect payment history no baddies. 1.5 years history and 9 months AAoA. Lender pull gave me 717 for TU. chase only pulls EX on me but I'm sure it won't be much higher or lower. I feel like I have a decent shot if I wait for the six month mark on my freedom. I also have over a 5k line that will have a 0 balance. I do however have 20 INQs on EX. So there is a lot of data points here lol. Also I want to product change that damn apple card. It's so useless. I was hoping I could change it to at least another retail card like the LL. bean or Williams Sonoma visa signature.
