I will try... it's just my gf and I do fine dining at least 3-4 times a week... it would suck if I won't be able to take her out as often..

I totally understand.  My BF and I have had to do the same thing for different reasons.  We would eat out at high end resturaunts prob 4x or more a week, sometimes more.  It wasn't unusual to have a $150-$300 dinner bill and I don't even drink!

I had to tell the BF we had to cut it out because I was on medication and needed to stick to a really strict diet.  He was sad because it's something he really enjoyed and it's something we enjoyed together.  But we've adjusted we go out maybe 2-3 times a month now and we both like it so much more!  Now going out is special not routine.  We can really appreciate the flavor and execution of our meals and not think..... MMMMMMMM last night's was better.  We've become very creative in our cooking at home, we like going to the grocery store armed with a list and maybe throwing in something special.  We even LOVE grilled cheese and tomato soup night (Monday's) and we love doing our own Taco Tuesday.  It's great to learn to cook gourmet meals for each other and to even spend time in the kitchen preparing food together.

I'm sure she will understand and will even enjoy spending time in the kitchen with you.

I only wished I knew how to cooked! maybe it's the reason why we eat out a lot... I do love her cooking but our work schedule right now just won't do it... I will try your suggestion though and see if it works out.. I actually would love to just stay home and make food.. I guess I really need to google some recipes and try to cook!..

That's actually a really great suggestion.  Also, the practice of cooking together could become a really awesome way to spend time together.

When I started working outside the house, I set aside one day (one of my days off) to do prep.  That way, when I want to cook before going to work (I work 2-10), I don't have to spend a lot of time getting things together.  I cut up veggies, etc and put them in food storage containers in the fridge and pull out each day Smiley Very Happy

Hope that helps

Let me make this a bit easier to put together.. :1.  CHEVRON: 100/5000  25.99%

2. WALMART: 3700/8000  23%

2. GAP: 2300/5000  23%

2. CSP: 4800/5000  23%

3. CAPONE: 2000/2500  21.99%

4. DISCOVER: 1600/1900  20.99%

5. CAPONE : 3200/4000   19.99%

6.  MARRIOTT: 4500/5000  15.99%

7.  AMEX: 150/1000  15.99%

10.  CITI: 1700/2000  0% til JULY 2014, 12.99% after

11.  CU LOAN: 4600/5000   No Data, more than likely 16% ish ... this is not a revolving account.. pay as agreed on it, its good for your credit mix at this time.. along with your car loan.

my CU loan is only 9.9%.. sorry I missed that... it's a 60 month term loan. $100 a month

Pay off Amex and Chevron first.  Amex doesn't seem to like balances, and it's a smaller one so it's good to get the ball rolling.  Chevron is your highest interest.  You're not going to be worried about credit score for a while, if I had to guess, so I'd say make sure that you don't go over limits, but pay highest interest to lowest.  For the moment, it'd be

Walmart=Gap=CSP (I personally would put priority on Chase, but that's a matter or preference)

By the time you've paid those off, you'll probably be paying interest on your 0% until cards, so I'd say Barclay and Slate next.

Then Cap1, Discover, your other Cap1 and so on.

The more cards you pay off, the higher payment you'll be able to make on the card you're focussing your efforts upon.  You can conquer this.  I have faith in you!

Re: Credit card debt!!!

for some odd reason, I wanna pay off all of my chase cards first, I guess I really wanna be in good standing with them more than any lender... but, I think the best plan for me is to pay off the lowest balances first and work my way up... OR start from the highest interest rate... I don't know I still have a lot of thinkin and calculating to do..

Here is the deal..

Life is simple.. Credit is a bunch of math.. there is nothing complicated about it.  Just plug in the numbers, and whittle away at the block.. sooner or later you will have a beautiful statuette to place on the mantle (metephorically speaking)

Best of luck Kobe..

If  you need any additional advice on which way to go, pop into the payoff thread, or kick me a PM.. I will be happy to give you my opinion, as many have done for me.. Some of it is worth it, some is not.. Only you can decide which is best for you.

Pup.

Thanks... will join that payoff challenge soon once I get everything together... and yes credit is a bunch of math, AND a huge headache... sometimes I wished I should have never even tried to fix it... =/

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
