Credit card non usage vs closure or AA questions

I know some cc's wont start any AA during a bt paydown, in my experience Discover and Penfed are 2 off the top of my head.

I am close to paying off a bt offer at zero from my penfed pcr.

If i wanted to make a purchase of say 1200 and pay it down 100 per month will penfed see this as non use during that long period and kick in AA?

Are any other cards in my lineup vulnerable for AA in that type of situation?

This really isn't worth worrying about.

Anecodtally lenders balance chase at far higher monetary values than that.  As for non-usage closures that's not very common right now even from my own experience, 2/3 of my inactive tradelines don't seem to care and the ones that do sent me a polite email to swipe it before they closed.

I'm just merrily PIFing along since I started on this forum, if you don't need to carry the balance don't... massively favorable APR situations excepted.

Lender AA usually is for more squirrley things in people's financial or credit reports and we rarely get complete details, and the impact unless you get EVERYTHING closed (which never happens AFAIK except if you file BK) is basically zero even mid-term.
