Hello all, Needing a some advice from you guys/gals Should i apply for a card with my bank (BofA) or go eles where, If eles where whats a good place for a 650 score only have one other card with my credit union. Thanks in advance.
why is your score so low. maybe you need to pay down util first or repair before you start applying
If you must apply, make sure you get your UTIL % down to under 10% if it's not already. The ideal score to get your foot in the door with a prime card is 660. Expect a high APR % and low CL with a 660 fico score. If you have no baddies or lates within the L2 yrs, try for a Chase, CITI, or AMEX. Discover are very conservative..so I would app that card last IMHO. I am sure OP will chime in to. Good luck !!

Welcome - great thread title. ![]()
Sorry, couldn't resist. 650's not that horrible. There are reports within these forums of people with similar scores getting almost every card available on the market. It depends on so many other things. Read threads, stick around here for a while. It's good for you.
ficofox - good one! LOL!
Welcome to the forums! Lot's of great knowledge here!
