I frequently travel and need a CC with the free access to Airport lounges. As far as I know, the new C1 Venture X card has it, however, I am not sure whether it is a select priority pass or just a regulary one with only a Priority Pass membership?

I don't use PP a lot (more often Delta SkyClubs) but what exactly is your concern?
Do you want free guests? Or to avoid a per-visit fee when you enter a lounge on your own?
Some cards (not sure of the latest list) do give a certain number of free guests. CSR no longer gives unlimited free guests, though other cards may. I'm not aware of any cards with PP Select cards that charge for the first visit (other than maybe Hilton?), or require you to pay an annual fee directly to PP.
PP from Amex excludes restaurants and some other "not really lounges" participants. I think one of the Hilton cards gives something like 10 visits free per year but charges per visit after that. Or maybe they do charge for the first visit?
While less of a concern during Covid, keep in mind that lounges can be fickle about accepting PP. You may be restricted to certain hours, or only allowed in if they aren't very busy.
Is there a particular lounge or two you are interested in at your home airport, or a frequent destination?
Since I travel often internationally so I use lounges. My concern was avoiding per-visit fee...I have PenFed Pathfinder card which gives a chance to use Priority Pass but I am not sure how and which out of select and regular? I never used it yet...I am also thinking on applying to Venture X card, which maybe the better choice...Most of the lounges I use are outside the US and are pretty good like in Dubai or Doha...

Looks like it's free with Venture X for you as the primary as well as a lounge-specific number of guests.

Any Priority Pass will require you to register. Most of the Priority Pass memberships are now issuing a digital card, not a physical card, however some programs use the credit card directly as the access card.
Have you completed the Priority Pass registration process as outlined by PenFed to determine whether you get a card, or just see the card in the app?
That is the first step, and from there I would just use the existing Pathfinder Priority Pass access to see how that goes.
Signing up for the Venture X gets you a $400 AF and then you have to work to get the benefits of the card. The enhanced earning on Venture X is only when you book through the Capital One Travel portal, not on any general spend. Getting Venture X only for the Priority Pass is one of the more expensive ways to get PP.

"PP Select" is the name of the program for memberships extended as a benefit via a credit card. The term by itself doesn't otherwise define a static set of access privileges.
Membership via the PF Pathfinder gets you right of access, but that's all it does. You always have to pay the entrance fee.
If you are looking at other options the Venture X and just about every other Visa Infinite card issued in the US except for the United Club card as well as the AMEX Platinum bundles Priority Pass membership with free lounge access although not all of them (USBank Altitude Reserve for example, 12 passes a year IIRC) grant you unlimited access. The UNFCU Elite also grants you Select membership with 5 free passes per year but the AF is only $50.
You do have to reseach the specifics on each card as the benefits extended vary between cards including the number of yearly free accesses and the number (if any) of free guests you can bring into the lounge with you.
Oops - forgot to mention the Hilton Surpass which gets you 10 free passes per year.

I think it is 4, 12 was the Gogo pass thing....
"Your annual fee is courtesy of U.S. Bank. After the four free visits have been used, you’ll pay just US$32 per person, per visit (charged to your Altitude Reserve Card)"
I have the physical current Priority Pass card from Schwab Platinum, but my primary email and PP login info linked with my old PP card from CSR (a card I no longer have).
Does anyone know how I can unlink my email from the CSR's PP number so I can have the PP from my Business Platinum (which I just enrolled in) be associated with my primary email? Or update my PP card number in the app?
I plan to keep both Schwab and Business Platinums, but Business seems slightly more likely to stay, and I lost whatever validation code or Web PIN came with my current PP card a few years ago, so using the PP from Business seems like it would be smoother.
Should I just use a secondary email for a clean new PP card and app login?
I would use a different email. It keeps things cleaner and easier to organize.
I have PP through Amex Plat and Citi Prestige, each on a different email. I now only use the latter since its benefits are better (T2 at SFO - got $28 off a restaurant bill for myself plus $28 for a guest).
