And here I am, patiently waiting for Synchrony to close my American Eagle card I haven't used since 9/2015. 
If you used it once or twice, you probably could have called or hit the CLI button and went back to where it was or even more if your profile supported it.
If you didn't need it or use it, I am sure you are better off without it.
