I was wondering if anyone here knows what bank issues the Yamaha Credit Card?, and what type of criteria they are looking for to
get a $10k jet ski. I have a 730 with a 4 year history all positive. Two inquiries on EX and One on EQ, 0 on TU. My highest limit is $4000
thru BOA Accelerated Rewards Amex. Any help would be appreciated.
Pretty sure its HSBC. Not 100% positive though.
Edit: if its HSBC for sure, you should have a great chance. They are easy to get in with.
My best friend just got one to finance a new Yamaha V-Star custom motorcycle which was ~$7,300. His scores are nowhere as good as yours, somewhere in the low 600's with a recent paid Capital One CO and an existing car loan with 3 30 day lates within the last 2 years. I am 99.9% his wife cosigned the card with him, and her scores are in the high 700's. But still...
So my guess is that you would likely be approved for the amount you want.
try to get an installment loan instead of opting for the yamaha credit card which has a mediocre reputation
Yamaha is thru hsbc with all scores in the low 700's they approved me for 25k in march of this year.
So i really dont think you would have any problem at all getting them to approve you for that ski.
My Yamaha installment is with GEMB. Got an FJR last Novemeber.
Sorry to revive an old topic... But, I was wondering if anyone knows if this type of financing is still available?

I saw an online app for this at yamaha waveruuner, try google, hope this helps
When I got my motorcycle through them in April im 98% sure they used Cap1 for the yamaha financial card, but i think they use GECRB too for the installment loans.
