I was told they don;t accept CLI requests when I asked. you wait for them to determine an adjustment is warranted.
When I first got my X1 card on 1/5/2022 they gave me a $29,000 SL. About 2 weeks later I texted their support line and asked about a CLI and they told me they would look into it and get back to me. A few days later I received an email with a new CL of $40,000. I have had that ever since. I put a fair amount of spend on the card every month (highest was $65,000 and the lowest month was $35,000). About a month ago I texted again asking about another increase and was told "Your limit will update automatically as you make on-time payments and if your income increases". I pay the balance in full daily as the charges show up and my income is more than sufficient to warrant a CLI. I am hoping that as I approach the 6 month mark the account may be reviewed for an increase at that point, or maybe 12 months in. I have contemplated only making 1 or 2 payments per month to let the balance run up more. My thought is paying daily may cause them to think I do not need the higher CL.
I do really like their reward structure as I spend quite a bit on the airlines they include and getting 3 cents plus new points on each purchase is nice to get.
