No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Ran across this card while perusing them there interwebs.
Apparently you can switch between debit and credit for up to 2 weeks AFTER the Initial purchase.
Let's say you want to watch spending by going strictly debit, but you find you have made a bit of a math error in the checkbook.
Simply select a previous purchase and switch it to credit.
Not a bad gimmick at first glance.
Anyone see a downside to this card?

It looks like its more of a "wallet", you link all your cards to it, credit and debit, and you can change which card you used for up to the aforementioned two weeks.
So perhaps even more than the debit/credit issue, this would be a great tool for those times you realize "**bleep**, I used the wrong card! Should have used card X for 5%"
Now you can....
ETA: or maybe not. Have to know a lot of details about whether the charge to the "correct" card would code as the original type of transaction, as the article says this is all done internally to avoid double charging of merchant fees.
I didn't think of it that way.
Only has me thinking there's a market for this
I believe it had a $1000 purchase limit, but for what it's intended for that should do fine.
After looking into it I would have to say that it looks like it might be a gimmick. Debit vs Credit will always be chosen at the terminal so that processing costs are known and the idea is basically a credit card that automatically forces the money to be repaid via debit while charging merchants for a credit charge. I cannot see this working well as you would need to stack the cards in processing and the processing costs will be quite large and complex. I cannot see how this will work out in the long run so while I am willing to watch I do not have any will to participate.
