@Anonymous wrote:This would be my first vanity pick up and I want it bad but I'm committed to my gardening until February goal. Maybe I can make this card my reward card for successfully gardening for the first time. My BK will be off TU in February (due to EE) which bodes well.
It just came out, it's not like it's going anywhere. Your Discover covers 3% on everything for a year anyway which means it's equal or better than this card. There's no harm in waiting until February. I know that doesn't help when you want it, just trying to help you stay strong, lol.

@M_Smart007 might take a stab at a classic piece of americana, and come out with a Win with his baller Amex status!

Sucks that they are all manual review so far. I will be curious to see how these apps shake out. I do hope it's not the usual ultra conservative UMB here -- the way the card's APRs are set seems to suggest looser UW.
I'm no stranger to vanity pickups so NO judgements from me!
It's still early but looks like a solid benchmark would be if @Mahraja, @FinStar or @12njoy applied and got the pending message, we could confidently say UMB isn't doling out any instant approvals.
@CreditCuriosity is also no stranger to vanity pickups, LOL..But lets ping the ballers again.. @Mahraja@FinStar @12njoy and get some real data points!!
Thanks Pizza. While it's tempting, I'm going to have to let this one go. It'll have to be something that I can say I have a good shot at and looking through the reviews thus far, I'm thinking my odds are very slim. Not a good strategic move for me right now, but again, thanks for the heads up ![]()

Thanks for the heads up. I would undoubtedly get the pending message.

I picked these 3 up last month. BB&T and Key Bank both went pending. I didn't expect either but they came through anyhow. The wait is so painful at times
I think this will do me for the remainder of this year. Looking forward to next year when I get to ditch these student loans that's weighing me down. I'll jump out at so much more then.
| BB&T Rewards Visa | $9,000 | |||
| Apple Card Mastercard | $8,000 | |||
| Key Bank Cash Rewards Mastercard | $7,500 |

Correct. I don't superhero, I don't cash back unless it's 5% or has reliable permanent BT offers (see BOA, Discover, Cash+, all CU cards, and all store cards in my signature), and I want a nice SUB. ![]()
