Hey guys and Gal, yes i got the first letter, just received my denial letter
EXCESSIVE CREDIT REVOLVING ACCOUNTS
Uhm, what do you mean, i though 27 was not enough
RIP UMB DCWho do they think they are, FirstTech CU?
I read about the cards when they first came out but as soon as I saw UMB I decided I wasn't even going to vanity app. I have way too many new accounts for their taste.
I said the hell with it and just burned an INQ as I wanted to see what would happen and don't otherwise have any potential targets until around May if I decide to seek a replacement for my CMB Crystal. As I pretty much expected, instant HP on TU and a "we'll get back to you" message.
Let us know how this turns out for ya @coldfusion. Fingers crossed!
Oh, I will, as I'm interested in the outcome. ![]()
Inofar as TU INQ I am 3/6 and 5/12 with as of yet 11 new accounts reporting (2 not yet reporting) in 2019, which for me is a big dropoff from both 2017 and 2018. DTI is in the single digits even with a vehicle loan just starting to report last month.
I thought I smelled a dead horse. lol
The "we'll get back to you" isn't exactly as thrilling as "Instantly Approved" either. So that combined with their weird algorithm that hates people with a ton of cards and 20 new accounts is a, "I'll apply later when I've got the cards I really want".

Still nothing. I don't know if that's a good sign or not.
I don't really want to call in either just yet either, it's as if I would be spoiling the surprise.
@Remedios wrote:@coldfusion You applied for this card? 😐
I'm laughing out loud...I most certainly did. 2nd time this year I did a vanity app, the 1st one was in a thread talking about all of the cobranded branded cards nobody knew were issued by Commerce Bank.
