I don't know, this seems pretty clear to me.
"EXCESSIVE REVOLVING CREDIT ACCOUNTS"
If someone with scores in the 800s that isnt showing credit seeking behavior cant get approved, then no one can.
Unless you know the overall profile for people that were declined for "excessive revolving accounts" I dont think you can assume it was just because they have a lot of accounts. Maybe they had 5 accounts opened in 2 years that triggered that.
Yeah I'm not buying it. UMB is known to be stupid strict. But if someone wants to be another DP, more power to them.
With the relationships that @Mahraja cultivates with banks and him saying that UMB wants files that don't have a lot of credit, I'm going to take his word for it.

21 months ago? You shouldnt have any cards opened in at least 452 months......
😁
I think you could at least try . If you do meanie im rooting for ya!

Yeah, this one is huge. I got this. Even gardening for this csrd might not overcome this one for me. I guess i csn wait til i csn get approved for a SFU cc then put a superman image, if thats allowed, on it as you can customize your credit card or debit card.

I was declined for this very reason and someone with an even stronger profile/income , @coldfusion i believe, was too.
I dont think they care how good you manage credit, they seem to want be used exclusively which makes no sense considering target audience.

I haven't seen any custom card image option that doesn't have a legal catch-all that basically says you cannot use any images that may be copyrighted. Many of them ban symbols of any kind outright.
And yeah, I'm not going to ever waste an inquiry on UMB unless I trim my cards down to <10 and 0/12 inquiries and new accounts too.
Lol, yeah thats seems alot of pruning for a Bank who may or may not approve you and the card isnt the most rewarding in the first place. I wish they wanted to get more customers not stay super closeted to their local ones.

Yeah I'm definitely not going to do all that to try to appease them when I don't shop at Walmart so their Simply Rewards wouldn't be any more valuable than the competing options from NFCU or Bank of the West and DC wouldn't get much use over SavorOne or Marvel.
Lets molest Navy to make CR 2%😁😄
