Yeaaa EQ isnt my best friend right now, I wish it were TU or Exp... I think I will wait until I am ready to apply for everything at once. I plan on getting a new car, Checking/savings acct, and CC through them so I should do all these hard pulls at once I guess??

It will still be at least 2 hp's. As stated before you get one for membership and one for CC. So two hp's on EQ. DCU will use the same report for both CC and Auto. So no matter when you do it, you got 2 coming. I mention this to their csr about it before and supposedly they've been getting a lot of complaints about this (probably from the whole damn myFico forum members..LOL) but from the sounds of it, the solution is off on the horizon some where so don't hold your breath. Yep it sucks and I sure didn't like it either, but its just part of doing business with them I guess.
Thanks Rhaeny. How do your like your DCU account? Generous CL, APR and all that?
they will hp for everything. even membership

Yea very nice CL and low APR. Going to wait a few months and hit up on a CLI. Oh and as for the checking, well your DD posts 2 days ahead of time and is FULLY available so that is a really nice benefit. And another thing I like is they show you pending transactions. A lot of banks and CU's don't show you that, but if you sometimes have a lapse in memory it helps so that you can record it. I mean other than that not much else to it.
Sounds good. The only thing im worried about is how do I make a big withdrawl if I had too? I read there is service centers all over, is that where you can make deposits and such?
Yep...absolutely no problem putting your hands on your money. Many local CU's are called shared branches so they can access other CU's accounts. Then you have the service centers that are just that...a service center and they do nothing but service (i.e. deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc) but no loan products.
