Yes, Chase does combine. I combined 3 Chase cards (WAWA, HESS AND SHOPRITE) into Freedom. I did not pay any heed at the time but they shaved 1k from CL, when I called it was too late. So be careful.

I had Shoprite MC issued by Chase. 1 point for $1 spent outside of Shoprite, 2 points/$1 spent inside Shoprite for non Shoprite brand products and 3 points/$1 spent on Shoprite brand products.I decided to get rid of it  when I got Penfed Cashback Visa, 2% of cash credited on you statement are much faster and better than any points.

Chase combines. I had them combine my Perfect Card into my Freedom. It was as easy it could be.

I can't wait until I can combine my Chase and WAMU. WAMu has been nothing but a nightmare for me...
