I think Macys is like GE and like 4 statements.
I did a search on here. I think your better off to call and ask the guide lines. You wouldn't want a hard pull and be declined ask to be sure if it will be a soft pull.
Last time I requested an increase they told me that they like for there to be at least 4 months in between. They have never hard pulled me for an increase, but I have read many accounts of people being hard pulled.

+1
Typically, folks would run the risk of a HP if Macys/DSNB hasn't SP'd your file as part of their standard AR process. IMO, I would wait to provide a more optimal outcome being that it is still a new account in their eyes, unless the OP has to do it right away... YEMV though.
I think 3-4 for store and 6 for amex.
They will always tell you its HP these days and it almost never is... when we have seen people get hard pulls is when there credit has dipped or has not improved from approval... otherwise the system is pulling new sp reports every 1-3 months anyway and that's what the computer uses for the request.
I even did a request on our amex that has not been used last month and was declined for income (I think the rep did something wrong and I should do it again) but either way no pull was done, it used the EQ on file.
I would wait at least another month or two since your account is just a little over two months old. In my opinion, an increase on a Macys card isnt worth a potential hard pull.

I keep an eye on my credit reports... Sps, reporting, etc.... Macys sp around the end of September. No, I have no reason to rush, just excited is all!. My 3d billing statement was received and I paid it in full upon receipt. My account was opened in August 2013, so should I wait until December which will make the 4th month? Or 4th statement which will generate towards the end of November?
Thanks for the advice and I'll try to be patient!
Well if you are alway watching your SP's then I would request AFTER you see the next sp... most don't see those type of reports frequently enough so we have to more or less guess on how many statements... so take your extra info to advantage and don't go to early... if they have only pulled 1 since opening I would wait.
