Every one of them has its place in my wallet.Oh my gosh! Thank you..
I read through this thread thinking "I must be a lunatic" LOL
I carry ALL my cards... Ya just never know what you might need..
I am half/half. If I closed out my SD'ed cards, I would be 75% daily carry:
In my wallet everyday:
Amex BCP - 6% Groceries
Vantage VISA - 5% Dining (Restaurants & Fast Food)
USBank+ - 5% Dept Stores & Sporting Goods Stores
Paypal MC - 3% Non-Category Spend
UBER VISA - 3% Travel (I might close this one. I RARELY travel)
Hidden in my vehicles:
Fort Knox VISA - 5% Gas
USAA Amex - 5% Gas
Stays at home:
Wife's Vantage VISA - 5% Utilities
Discover IT - 5% Wholesale clubs % Amazon (during their quarters)
Sock Drawered:
USAA Unlimited VISA - 2.5% Non Category
Citi Double Cash MC - 2.0% Non Category
Chase Freedom - 5% Categories (PC'ed from Unlimited)
Venture - Visa Sig
Savor - WEMC
Uber - Visa Sig
Propel - Amex
Discover goes in and out
The rest get rotated or with my wife or are on my phone or computer
I do not carry an ATM card but I always have $200 in cash.
DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!
Navy Flagship
Discover It
Amex PRG
Except for those with very few cards (say 4 or less), I really don't get the point of carrying ALL your cards. "Geographic diversity" makes sense, if you lose your wallet, you want at least one card somewhere else to use until the replacements arrive.
I used to carry all my cards in my wallet until just recently, because I only have like, 6 cards. One day, I just realized I do not really use the other cards. Sock drawer they went, literally. Now I just use a thin minimalist front wallet. It makes me happier.
Paypal, Costco, Amazon (backup) = wallet
Amex, Sam's Club, Quicksilver = drawer
I was debating between the Amazon vs Amex as backup, but due to obsessive compulsiveness, I chose to SD the Amex, because together with Sam's and QS (custom inage), they have the older style, embossed card numbers. Plus the Amazon Visa looks great, being metal and all. My take on this is, card design DOES matter.

I agree. I carry most, but keep BCE/Arrival/Hyatt separate.
I'd probably carry fewer...at least when not traveling...but stuff would fall out of my stretched old wallet if it wasn't full!
Maybe it's time to replace it...

I may just get the urge to shop for something and so I might need a specific card.
That said; I have NEVER, in my life, lost a wallet, set of keys or the like. Never.
My husband has lost both, on different occasions, numerous times and most were never found.
He gets to carry 2 cards plus his debit card. LOL
I carry another very sensitive item in my handbag. This is for personal defense so it's always at my side when I'm not at home.
This makes me extremely aware of the location of my bag & wallet.
Oddly, I believe my cards are more safe on my person.
I mostly use the PayPal 2% on everything, plus 3% when use with business debit.
For restaurants, the Uber Visa or Discover on the restaurants quarter. And, BCP for groceries.
