Dcu just joined.. How long to apply for visa?

I just recently got approved (today) to join dcu. I am curious how long until I should try applying for one of their cards?

Should I wait until I get my card info?

Yes, once you get your member number/account login info then apply to make it a little smoother.

IME, it's a HP for membership and another for a loan/card.

I just did this last week. First applied for a savings account and once that was open, app'd for their visa on line. After you apply for the visa, a CS rep will call you to make sure it was you that applied and ask how much you are asking for. Had the approval the then day along with them refinancing my auto loan. Very nice, easy and fast!

I had a 672 with an open judgement and past 30 day lates and received a $13K auto loan and $3K Visa
