I am desperate to get this all taken care of. I have about 20k in credit card debt and hubby has taken a huge pay cut. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to get this taken care of without getting a huge hit on my credit report? BTW, no more equity in our home since home prices dropped so drastically. I'm at a loss. BofA said they could close my acct. and reduce my payment but it hits my credit report for 5 years.
