Re: Decided to followup on my Amex Delta Application

Concord do you really think at the end they will give you that Delta card?
Because I read on other threads that if you have the Oassis card you cant get another
of there product.
Maybe they'll give you that Delta Card when you show them all that Items that they are asking you for?
Who knows but im curious for the Desisions...

It is more a matter of principle for me at this time. I want to see if I would get the card. I'll wait till this Friday and call them. By that time both letters from me and my atty also should reach Amex office. I might call Monday my Banker also and see if I can have her send the same letter to Amex. I want to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Does it matter to me if I get the card or not. Really nothing at this point. I want to follow through and see what happens. It is bothering me so much for last few days. I want to see what happens in the end.

Wow.  That's just crazy.

As much as I love my Delta Skymiles card, I have already decided that the day they attempt to FR me will be the day our relationship comes to an end.

If I didn't already have the card I certainly would not be jumping through all those hoops just to get it.  Cripes, it's not a mortgage application.

concorduser I think if you get the card you might have to go through this same crap again. I don't see that it's worth all of the trouble. If they're taking you thru all of this just to get a card best believe they're gonna be watching every move you make.

I9, I totally agree with you. I'll wait till Friday and once the letters reach there, then I'll give them a call and see what they say. If they say any thing other than approved, then I'll drop my pursuit. It is not worth the time. I am not sure why I am hung on this app, especially when I have Platinum Card from them.

I can understand this, I interpret it as wanting closure.

As well as logic, consistency, and common sense! Smiley Tongue
