Deciding what to do with my QS1 - PC to Venture?

I need some feedback on my options for my quick silver one, which I opened way back when I was rebuilding.  I don't need it anymore, and the SL is stuck at $950.  I want to PC it for the venture, but not sure how that would work, as I certainly don't want that same SL.  What are my options here? Just cancel it, and reapply or somehown PC it with a consideration for today's scores for the SL?  TIA!

It hard to product change the QS1. Only a few are able to do it. I wasn't able to PC mine and got rid of it after 3 unsuccessful tries.

Also, you need $5k limit because the Venture requires $5k SL. And you would lose out on $500 Venture SUB. I would just apply for the Venture if you want it to get the SUB.

Thanks Steve.. I think that's what I am going to end up having to do.

Close it or PC to QS (or Venture1, if possible). Something with no AF. *I don't see the point in paying for a 2% card, even if your CL was high enough.

Do you plan to downgrade your Savor? Or you have a lot of entertainment spend/dining spend that Amex Gold doesn't recognize?

I got Savor for the SUB but found the marginal value after the first year wasn't there.

Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

@wasCB14 I'm definitely keeping the Savor.. it's been great for my cashback. I eat out a lot so, I have literally gotten hundreds back.  It's almost my highest CL right now, so definitely not interested in closing it until I reach higher highs with others. Smiley Happy

Re: Deciding what to do with my QS1 - PC to Venture?

A couple of years ago, I PC'd my QS1 card to Venture One. Then recently I PC'd the Venture One to the Venture card. It was super easy and streamlined; you can do it entirely online. I travel a lot (ordinarily) so I tend to have a lot of travel-related cards like the Venture.

As long as you've had your original card for the requisite time, PC to another CapOne card shouldn't be a problem.

I decided to PC my QS1 to V1 to get rid of the annual fee and only use it sporadically now.  My goal was to PC my QS1 to SavorOne but that never happened and got tired of trying.

Currently my experience and line of thinking. I'm still holding out for one lucky day and a PC to Savor One. I PC'd from QS1 to V1 and even though I benefit from no AF, I would have rather received the SUB especially because it's one of the lower travel miles cards at 1.25x.
