Barclay is awsome for recon, results vary but at least you can call directly into the person that can change the decision in under 1 minute!! CALL

I tried calling them and they are closed at 5 PM .. I think it is a sign lol

Since you don' t need for gas since you live in the city question is do you want cash back or MR points for groceries spend. You have amazon store cards that i would assume would cover amazon purchases.

I have an Amazon Visa card which oddly enough I don't use on amazon purchases lol. Bulk of my spending is done in Q4 with Amazon and I would prefer 5% with Discover or Chase Freedom ( Hopefully pay off the Balance on that so I can use it or might just Balance transfer it to a citi card). I maybe spent only around $1,500 on Amazon so far and most of that is from a TV that I needed a few months ago and a PS4 I bought in Feb.

Sounds like you don't need it Smiley Happy

Save it for when it might be useful for you - 0% APR for first year might come in handly down the line some day in the future.

Personally I would still recon since you already cost yourself a HP even if I didn't need it.

Next time sleep it over night before you app, could help you in the long run think it all the way thru first.

Right, but if successful there will be a new account, bringing down AAoA, for a card that really isn't needed (at present)
