Re: Dell Preferred Account - FYI

Looks like another switcheroo behind the scenes going on again. I'm not so sure i want yet another Comenity Store Card when they already toasted 2 of those to the tune of nearly $30K TLs. Currently have SGV & All Rewards along with their Bread AmEx but these are BankCards.

I had been considering just closing Dell Preferred anyway which after seeing this might be a good idea on this end. Comenity consistently & temporarily runs through store brands as often as i buy rye bread at the grocery.

Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Dell Preferred Account - FYI

Thank You @shadanat - Just called them and CLOSED DELL PREFERRED account. Will be getting an email confirmation "closed at customer request" as well as i always be sure to have them USPS mail a 'Account Closed' Letter for the record.

I wonder if comenity will maintain and keep up the pre-qualification tool for Dell Preferred, it's been cool to watch my pre-qualified amount move up and down based on my credit actions

I just soured after they pummelled (2) of their cards it took 3 years to grow. Now for anyone else, (especially rebuilders) the change should be a bonus since Comenity Cards DO GROW and more likely for those cardholders to receive regular SP Increases. Whereas with the plain Dell Preferred that WAS NOT AN OPTION. I got (1) auto-CLI from Dell Preferred in the 3+ years from first approval.

So yeah that's a benefit! I'm just not in that Store camp with them anymore. Personal preference. Smiley Wink

Just got my email confirmation within the hour too! Woop!!
