Yes Brammy, it was a chapter 7. But I told them that prior to applying and the rep even checked with a supervisor wno said as long as it was over 7 yrs old, it would not disqualify me.

JMHO forthe headache of Amex with the limit you may have been offered, they are just not worth it at this point.  LOTS of other cards out there with good limits and better interest rates.  Even though you may not currently carry a balance, I would still be concerned about interest rates, as they say 'Stuff happens'.
