Re: Delta Blue Skymiles?

Check their website to see if you are prequalified for anything.

Americanexpress.com-> Cards-> Check for prequalified offers.

With a 621 Experian, I would say approval is likely marginal. Underwriting should be the same for Gold and Platinum versions as well, so I would certainly apply for the card that best suits your needs and not go for the one with the least perks.

Re: Delta Blue Skymiles?

I don't think you're there.  My approval came at about 660 EX for the Hilton card.

I would work on getting the scores a bit higher before apping for a card. Your scores are on the low side for Amex.

Re: Delta Blue Skymiles?

I was approved for my Delta Gold at 610 EX but I had preapprovals for that and PRG.

I would wait until your scores come up some or a preapproval appears

Re: Delta Blue Skymiles?

I'm curious as well. The typical low for a gold seems to be 610. Since this is a lower tier card, I'm wondering if it will be the same or if the threshold will be lower. Seeing as how this apears to be targeted at millenials, I'm genuinely curious.

Re: Delta Blue Skymiles?

I cold apped for a Gold Skymiles last month with a 621 EX score,  Instant approval with a SL of 1K.  My understanding is that the UW requirements are the same for both cards.
