Re: Denied BCE, How Soon For Zync?

Get zync ASAP hopefully. Appmfor bce/bcp in January for max backdating. Remember no real harm with rejected apps once you have Amex. Just make sure you are logged into Amex account and it knows you are current Amex holder when applying.

Would waiting for Credit Karma and Credit Sesame to show the new Discover Card and the PenFed CLI be sufficient? I don't want to purchase a report too soon to have it come back not updated yet.

You were denied credit, and i think you have either 60 or 90 days to pull an adverse action report, which is free. So depending on when the two cards start reporting you might be able to see them on your report for free.

I know but I already pulled it last week, which now I wish I didn't. CreditSesame will notify me of a new account right? Or do I need to purchase a report? If so, where would be the cheapest place to buy the report?

Re: Denied BCE, How Soon For Zync?

It should notify since the service basically just pulls information from your report and puts it in a different view. However, I do remember reading somewhere that they only update CreditSesame every month, and I don't know if that was just the score, or the whole report they get, so you might be better off purchasing a report. Not sure where the cheapest would be though.

Credit sesame is once a month on score and report. Credit karma is daily if you manually update.

Ok so should I wait until the beginning of August to apply? Hopefully by then my first statement for Discover and the PenFed CLI will be reporting in order to improve my chances of getting accepted for the Zync. Or will the new Discover credit hurt me and therefore I should apply this month instead?

Thought I gave advice earlier.  Apply when the 31 days is up from last rejection.
